David
Whiting explained the inspiration behind his painting of reflections
in water.
He demonstrated three stages of his working methods on sections
of different paintings. These are illustrated on the following
pages.
He
uses a variety of artists quality acrylics, with a little
water and gel, applied on canvas using Prolene brushes.
The
process involves meticulous repeated patterns to break the
vertical reflections.
Several
images of his work are reproduced on the following pages.
